What is a Language Ambassador?
As a Language Ambassador, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide inclusive and accessible technology for diverse linguistic communities. Your responsibilities will include translating and localizing content, ensuring our platform reflects the unique cultural and linguistic nuances of the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Translation: Translate educational materials, app interfaces, and support documents into your native language with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Localization: Adapt content to reflect local customs, idioms, and cultural contexts, ensuring it resonates with users in different regions.
Quality Assurance: Review and provide feedback on translations and localized content to maintain high standards of accuracy and relevance.
Community Engagement: Assist in outreach efforts to connect with local communities and gather feedback on language needs and preferences.
Who We’re Looking For:
Fluency in Your Language: Proficiency in at least one language other than English, with a strong grasp of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances.
Cultural Insight: Deep understanding of the cultural context and regional variations associated with your language.
